My name is Briana Charles, I am the sole owner and Pastry Chef of Chubby Bunny Cafe. I am married to the most wonderful Husband, David, and we just moved down here from New Jersey to start our own little family!
I graduated Culinary School in 2016. Like most people, I couldn’t decide what I wanted to do for my career, but it should’ve been obvious from my childhood that this is what I was meant to do. When I get a cake order, all of my love goes into it. I’m so passionate about desserts and I know that the ingredients matter. I try to get my hands on the best ingredients I can find to make you the most delicious desserts. I make every order from scratch, my desserts are 100% homemade. Sometimes, when I give a quote, people say it’s a little more expensive than they were expecting, but afterwards they understand why. Usually, I bake professionally, but before we moved down here I decided that I want to put all of my professional focus into running Chubby Bunny Cafe.
While most of our family lives in NJ, my Mom, her boyfriend Paul, and my Brother live down here. They actually own the Pizzeria, Mozzarella’s, located in Market Common.
The love for food runs in the family.
A cake is just a cake if it looks good, it’s just a cake if it’s taste good, but when it’s both, it’s a masterpiece. Chubby Bunny Cafe is only at the beginning stages of becoming a business, but I have huge plans and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon!
I am home based so I make everything to order. Every item is always fresh and made from scratch, truly homemade desserts.
