Do you have to have small children to go see Clifford the Big Red Dog? Something about that big red dog just makes me want to smile.
Clifford the Big Red Dog has arrived at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina (CMSC). And on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., CMSC is holding a celebration in his honor. Admission is just $5 per person.
Here are the event activities:
- Story time: 10:30 a.m.
- Big Red games: 11:00 a.m.
- Meet Clifford the Big Red Dog: 1:00 p.m.
- Meet Deuce from the Myrtle Beach Pelicans: 1:00 p.m.
- Story time: 2:30 p.m.
Don’t forget to bring your camera if you want to take a picture of your kids with Clifford or Deuce.
If you can’t make it to Monday’s celebration, the Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibit will be at CMSC through May 6, 2011. Inspired by the TV show Clifford The Big Red Dog, the exhibit offers “paws-on” adventures that reinforce “Clifford’s Big Ideas”: Share, Play Fair, Have Respect, Work Together, Be Responsible, Be Truthful, Be Kind, Believe in Yourself, Be a Good Friend and Help Others. Admission is free with paid museum admission ($8). Children under two get in free.
The Children’s Museum of South Carolina is located at 2501 N. Kings Highway (across from the convention center) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
