Now that the 2022 school season has started, and if you’re a parent in search of after-school care, the City of Myrtle Beach is now offering registration at Mary C. Canty and Pepper Geddings Recreation Centers.

Kid Power After School Care
Kid Power is an after school program that “Bridges the Gap” between school and home in a safe, supportive and fun environment.
Forestbrook Elementary Kid Power program offers after school care for students Monday through Friday from 2:30 – 6:00 pm. Kid Power follows the HCSD school calendar.
YMCA
The YMCA Afterschool Program is a safe & fun place to be with lots of positive staff interaction and learning opportunities. We provide a healthy afterschool snack, physical fitness time, homework help and a wide variety of other activities, including STEM, Global Learning and Art as well as time to socialize with friends or play games.
Thomas Gymnastics
The after school program at Thomas Gymnastics at the Beach now picks up from Elementary Schools in the Myrtle Beach, Conway, and North Myrtle Beach area.
North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center
The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center offers an After School Program. Kids ride the bus from their school to the Aquatic & Fitness Center. They will enjoy a safe, structured environment, where they will receive support with their homework, as well as snacks, and activities in the gym and pool.
