The Asher Theatre is putting on a two-day, four show Ray Charles and Sam Cooke tribute shows starting June 19

James Stephens III and his live band will cover a tribute to Ray Charles. Back by popular demand will be the smooth sounds of Ron Dixon as Sam Cooke.
Asher Theatre staff will spend the next few weeks getting the venue ready to meet safety guidelines.
The facility has already been disinfected by a cleaning company and volunteer college students.
Some of the social distancing protocols include, placing tables at least six feet apart for guests and have masks, hand sanitizer, and plexi-glass at the will-call office and concessions. They’re only filling the venue at half capacity and performers will keep their distance on stage.
Asher Theatre is located at 3237 Waccamaw Boulevard. There is plenty of free off-street parking.
