Bargain hunters love Target for so many reasons, including its low everyday prices and amazing clearance shelves. Unfortunately, it’s nearly impossible to get a discount on any gift cards, especially Target’s. However, for a brief few hours, smart shoppers can save 10% on Target gift cards. (This is the first time the giant retailer has offered a discount on its gift cards.) On Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, holiday shoppers can purchase up to $300 in Target gift cards at 10% off at Target stores from 6 a.m. to noon. The cards purchased on Black Friday will be available for redemption beginning Saturday, Nov. 29. The gift cards don’t expire and don’t carry any fees. If you’re a regular Target shopper, it might be wise to invest the full $270 for a $300 gift card for yourself — that’s a $30 bonus. (However, discounted gift cards may be purchased in any denomination — up to the limit of $300 per customer.) Then, use the discounted gift cards on sale/clearance merchandise, along with coupons, for maximum savings.
