Boardwalk Bikes offers visitors a chance to get around downtown and Ocean Boulevard areas of Myrtle Beach via a rented bicycle. The City of Myrtle Beach has numerous designated bicycle lanes along Ocean Blvd and to and from popular attractions, shopping and dining venues within the city.

For those feeling a bit more adventurous, you can bike the East Coast Greenway, a Florida to Canada, coastline bike route. Another more local bike trail is Woodland Path, which runs beside Seagate Village, on the southern edge of the city.

If you want to test your mountain bike skills, check out the Andre S. Pope Mountain Bike Skills Park. The Andre S. Pope Mountain Bike Skills Park is owned by the City of Myrtle Beach and maintained by the Myrtle Beach Area Mountain Bike Association. The park was completed in 2019 and includes numerous skill developing obstacles including single track, drop-ins, skinny rails and jump lines.

City of Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Bicycle Restrictions

Bicycles are allowed at all hours from Labor Day through April 30. From May 1 through Labor Day, bicycles are PROHIBITED, except between the hours of 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
