Summer Light: Art by Night is an opportunity to explore and experience the historic Brookgreen Gardens landscapes like never before.
Nine lighting installations throughout the sculpture garden, featuring a variety of lighting techniques that will light up the gardens. Through the heart of the garden, you will be immersed and mesmerized by the magic of Brookgreen Gardens after dark.
From the 800 upcycled chandeliers and 900 wine bottle alcoves, experience Oak Allee and Beyond the Garden Wall like never before, immersing yourself with sounds and lights, the exquisite Conway Glass display, the blooming flora in the Children’s Garden, and more.
Summer Light: Art by Night will allow visitors to stroll the gardens in a whole new light. Live music will be performed each night by various bands throughout the summer.
A variety of food and beverage options will be available throughout the gardens.
The event begins in June and continues every Wednesday and Saturday until August. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and runs through until 10:00 p.m. Dates are listed below.

Dining at Brookgreen Gardens
Whether your hungry for a quick sandwich or a more formal sit down meal, Brookgreen Gardens has three dining options available. Hours are mostly limited to morning and afternoon hours and typically aren't open for the nightly Brookgreen Gardens events.
Brookgreen Gardens offers three dining options:
The Old Kitchen is located at the end of Live Oak Alleé and offers sandwiches, quiche, desserts, beverages, and light refreshments. The porch is a great place to relax overlooking the beautiful gardens. The Old Kitchen is open daily from 10 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Harvest Restaurant, formerly 'Azalea', is located by the Rainey Galleries offers a full-service menu and is open every day, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. For reservations click here.
The Courtyard Cafe is located in the Lowcountry Center open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. offering sandwiches, chips, hot dogs, cookies, beer, wine, smoothies, soda.
