Even if you’ve never considered having food delivered, now may be the time to join the popular trend. On the other hand, there’s a whole generation of young people used to having everything delivered. For bargain hunters, food delivery is tricky because it’s not so cheap, once you consider tax, tip and fees. However, no matter who you are, it’s convenient to have food delivered right to your front door and easier than ever before.
Be sure to review the fine print of each offer first, as many have restrictions and/or purchase requirements. And, of course, don’t forget to tip your delivery driver.
Most delivery orders must be placed online or via the restaurant’s app. However, some places may accept phone orders — just call ahead and ask.
