Kids come home with too much Halloween candy? Two dentist offices in Pawley’s Island are participating in a nationwide program to “buy” back Halloween candy from kids.
In exchange for their candy, kids will be given things like cash, coupons for local business, toothbrushes, hygiene kits, toys, etc. What they’ll get will vary by location. But here’s the best part. The candy will be sent to U.S. military troops that are deployed in harm’s way, so the kids not only get a reward; they also get to help support our troops.
