Celebrate DOGtoberfest with friends on The Deck at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach.
DOGtoberfest will go down this Saturday (10/28) to benefit The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach. The event kicks off at 3 p.m. and features live music from Purpose, raffles, and shelter dog adoption! Bring your furry friend to participate in the doggy costume contest!

Ripley’s Festival of Trees exhibit proudly celebrates the heritage and diversity of these Great United States. Themed trees are adorned in decorations and ornaments representing each of our 55 great states and territories. Marvel at our own South Carolina tree, over 18-feet-tall and features seashells, magnolias, golf balls, and Coastal, Clemson, and USC representation!
A special ticket is NOT needed to see the Festival of Trees at Ripley’s Aquarium Myrtle Beach, it is included with your General Admission ticket purchase.
Cost to enter the contest is $10 to pre-register and $15 on the day of the event. Pre-registration will be turned off on 10/27/23 at 4 p.m.
Rules: Entrants will receive a participant number which much be worn so that it is visible to the judges. Pets must be leashed at all times. Each pet must have his/her own adult walker. Entrants must gather at the costume contest area (by the stage) by 4:15 p.m. Contest starts at 4:30 p.m. Judges’ decisions are final. Prizes for top three costumes!
