This Saturday, March 26, 2011, beginning at 9:30 a.m., teams will begin building their own boats on the Waterway at Barefoot Landing. The boats will race at 3:15 p.m. Spectators can watch for free.
After the boat race, Flying Fish Public Market & Grill will be holding an Oyster Roast and Pig Pickin’. Admission is free, but there’s a $15 fee for all-you-can-eat oysters and barbecue pork. Flying Fish will also be providing entertainment and running food and drink specials.
Vendors will be on site all day.
