FREE Admission to Myrtle Beach History Series: Through The Lens of Time

A new history series, Through The Lens of Time, features first-hand recollections from long-time Myrtle Beach locals.

If you’re a history buff or would like to learn more about the history of Myrtle Beach, make plans to attend “Through the Lens of Time: Myrtle Beach History” on various dates through 2024.

Diane DeVaughn Stokes serves as emcee, and the speakers are Jack Thompson, Dino Thompson, Victor Shamah, Buddy Styers, Ruth Trask Gore, “Cookie” Goings, and Buz Plyler. Learn about Myrtle Beach’s past from a local’s perspective.

The series is sponsored by the Seniors Advisory Committee and Chapin Memorial Library. The series takes place at Chapin Memorial Library, 400 14th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach. Start time is 2 p.m.
