On Saturday, May 28, 2011, the City of Myrtle Beach will be kicking off its 60th Annual Sun Fun Festival.
This event begins with a parade from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The parade will start on Ocean Boulevard at 27th Avenue N and go south to 9th Avenue N. Senator John McCain will serve as Grand Marshall.
Immediately following the parade, there will be meet ‘n greets and live performances by Disney® and Nickelodeon® celebrities, craft vendors, food, military appreciation activities, and more.
David Archuletta from Season 7 of American Idol will be performing at 8:00 p.m.
