Several Vacation Myrtle Beach oceanfront resorts are offering free (or cheap) parties or entertainment this summer. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

Polynesian Fire Show (FREE)
Captain’s Quarters Resort: Saturdays, 8:30 p.m., June 2-September 5.
Caravelle Resort: Mondays, 9:00 p.m., June 1-September 4 (no show July 4), Oceanfront lawn.
Make like you’re at a luau at this fun show at Captain’s Quarters and Caravelle Resorts. The show includes live Polynesian music, ethnic dancing, and Samoan Fire Knife performances. Caravelle also offers a luau plated dinner with Hawaiian roast pork, slaw, rolls, and more from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Magic Show ($5)
Landmark Resort: Sundays & Wednesdays, 8:00 p.m.
Voted best magic show at the beach three years in a row, Michael Bairefoot‘s family-friendly magic and comedy show puts a new twist on classic magic tricks. There will also be a children’s buffet in the Gazebo Restaurant from 5:00-7:00 p.m. ($8.95 + tax per child).

Captain’s Quarters Resort: Wednesdays & Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. to noon.
Kids and adults alike will be wowed by the magic of family-friendly entertainer Greg Holt.
Pool Party (FREE)
Ocean Creek Resort: Oceanfront pool deck, Friday, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Landmark Resort: Tuesdays & Fridays, noon to 3:00 p.m.
Poolside DJ (FREE)
Captain’s Quarters Resort: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday, noon to 4:00 p.m.
Beach Cove Resort: Tues & Thurs, noon to 4:00 p.m., June 2-September 5.
Enjoy tunes spun by a live DJ while you splash and play in the oceanfront pool.
Poolside Glow Party (FREE)
Beach Cove Resort: Fridays, 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., June 2-September 5.
Captain’s Quarters Resort: Fridays, 8:30 to 10 p.m., June 2-September 5.
When the sun goes down, the glow sticks come out. This party features music by a live DJ. Glow sticks will be available for purchase.
