This Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Lee’s Inlet Apothecary & Gifts is celebrating its 9th anniversay with a party and soda jerk contest. Admission is free.
This year’s contestants will be seven of the Lee’s Inlet Apothecary Apothe-Kids who will be competing for the title of Soda Jerk of the Year. Contestants will be judged on flavor, showmanship, and presentation. Judging will begin at 1:00 p.m.
In addition to the soda jerk contest, this event also includes a bounce house, popcorn, snow cones, firetruck tours, and more.
Lee’s Inlet Apothecary & Gifts is located at 3579 Highway 17 Business in Murrel’s Inlet, South Carolina (just south of Myrtle Beach).
