Free “Gone Fishing” event for kids at Bass Pro Shops

Bass Pro Shops in Myrtle Beach, will be hosting FREE fishing activities for kids on June 12th and 13th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Gone Fishing will feature catch-and-release ponds, free crafts, free photos (with free downloads) and free seminars.

Have your child’s picture taken on the cover of a fishing magazine, create a fishing craft, learn how to fish, and come fish in our pond in front of the store. Registration, crafts, and pictures will be behind the Bass Pro Shops Club booth.

Kids will go home with a “First Fish” certificate.

This event is part of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s efforts to introduce kids across the country to fishing. They’ll also be donating rods and reels to local non-profit organizations that help get kids outside.
