FREE Homeschool Meetup November Line-up at Green Sea Floyds Library

Homeschool Meetup will meet in November from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm on the following dates: 6,13,20,27.

A special Homeschool Meetup will be held on November 8, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Ripley’s Festival of Trees opens November 10 and concludes December 31

Ripley’s Festival of Trees exhibit proudly celebrates the heritage and diversity of these Great United States. Themed trees are adorned in decorations and ornaments representing each of our 55 great states and territories. Marvel at our own South Carolina tree, over 18-feet-tall and features seashells, magnolias, golf balls, and Coastal, Clemson, and USC representation!

A special ticket is NOT needed to see the Festival of Trees at Ripley’s Aquarium Myrtle Beach, it is included with your General Admission ticket purchase.

Registration is not required for these events.

November Homeschool Meetup topics:

11/6: Learn about the Native Americans
11/8: Special Home School Meet-up with Horry County Museum: Native American Tools & Pottery:
Students will learn about local Native Americans by looking at different tools, including pottery.
Children will then make a pinch pot or a coil pot out of airdry clay that they can take home.
11/13: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
11/20: Homeschool-giving: Celebrate Thanksgiving
11/27: Christmas Llamas
