On Monday, January 20, 2014, the Carolina African Heritage Foundation is holding a Martin Luther King Jr. parade as part of their annual Freedom Rally. Admission is free.
The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. in the Myrtle Beach Pelicans Stadium parking lot. The Web site hasn’t been updated this year to include the parade route, but here’s a link to last year’s route, which also began at the Pelican’s stadium. You may want to get there early in case they’ve made changes.
The Pelicans stadium is located at 1251 21st Avenue N.
