Free Reading Program for Kids

Here’s a program to help get your child into reading.

The Socastee Library is hosting a free reading program for kids under the age of 6.

Here’s how it works:

• Every month, pick up a passport for your child at the Socastee library.
• Whenever you check out a children’s book, the library will stamp your child’s passport.
• When the passport is filled, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a free gift basket.

This Passport to Reading program runs from August through May.
