On Saturday, February 4, 2017, the Ned Donkle Field Complex is hosting a free softball clinic for girls ages 8-13. Registration and an Insurance Statement are required. Registration forms are available at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center and at Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium.
The clinic, which runs from 10 a.m. to noon, covers softball basic skills, such as throwing, catching, hitting and pitching. Participants need to bring a softball glove and a water bottle. They also need to wear cleats or athletic shoes and weather-appropriate athletic clothing.
