Here’s a description of the event, which runs from 5 to 6 p.m., from the Chapin Memorial Library website: “In a world overrun with rudeness, slurs, and hate how are we supposed to respond? February 17th is National Random Acts of Kindness day so we’re going to do just that. We’re going to hang out, eat some food, and create ways to show kindness to the people around us!”
