Friends of the Library, North Myrtle Beach, is pleased to announce a free author presentation, by author Teri M. Brown on Thursday, November 3 at 10 a.m. in the library, 910 First Avenue, North Myrtle Beach.
Teri M. Brown was an Army brat, born in Greece and now calls the North Carolina coast home, and the peaceful nature of the sea has been a great source of inspiration for her creativity.
Teri is a wife, mother, grandmother, and author who loves word games, reading, bumming on the beach, taking photos, singing in the shower, hunting for bargains, and mentoring others. Her debut novel, Sunflowers Beneath the Snow, is a historical fiction set in Ukraine.
In the novel, she explores the tenacity of women, showing that even in grueling circumstances, they can experience all the good things life has to offer – compassion, joy, love, faith, and wonder. The book won 1st Place Historical Fiction 2022 International Firebird Book Award. She will sign copiesof her book and introduce her next novel.
