Myrtle Beach and The Grand Strand is feeling like Christmas! This weekend there are plenty of family-friendly and free or inexpensive holiday events to choose from.

North Myrtle Beach Dashing Through The Glow
Be one of the first to see the lights during this two mile non-competitive walk/run through the Great Christmas Light Show. Get in the spirit and wear your best Holiday themed outfit. Prizes will be given for best dressed individual and best dressed family. The walk/run will end at Santa’s Village, where you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and check out some of the activities. Dash starts at 7 p.m.

Pawleys Christmas Festival at the Island Shops
Join the Island Shops in Pawley’s Island as they kick-off the 2022 Christmas season with the Pawleys Christmas Festival!
Lots of activities, get photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, letters to Santa, Christmas cookies, ornament crafts, live entertainment, goodies, specials, door prizes + more!
ALL event parking is in large parking lot directly behind The Island Shops.

Market Common Christmas Tree Lighting
Santa will arrive at 6 p.m. on November 19, in front of Grand 14 at Market Common to kick-off the holiday season in The Market Common.
While waiting for Santa, check out the complimentary Carriage Rides starting at 5 p.m. Pick up is in front of Dolce Lusso Salon.
Lots of fun activities for the kids include trackless train ride, face painting, balloon art, bounce houses and other kids’ activities, plus vendors with yummy treats on Deville and Reed Streets.
Barefoot Landing Christmas Tree Lighting
Saturday, November 19, head out to Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach for their annual ‘Lighting Of The Landing’ tree lighting celebration.
There will be FREE live music, a visit from Santa and fireworks. The festivities start at 6 p.m.

Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum’s Holiday Pottery Bazaar
Fun, handmade work from more than 20 local potters will be for sale at the museum. Art includes ornaments, mugs, platters, plates and more.
Proceeds from the holiday bazaar will benefit the Lineta Pritchard Pottery Studio as well as participating artists. You’ll find ornaments, mugs, platters, plates, bowls, berry bowls, succulent and flower pots and much, much more – all handmade, unique and beautiful.

Holiday Wreath Workshop at Ripley’s Aquarium
Follow along as a skilled instructor guides you through the process of creating the perfect holiday wreath!
