If you are a motorhead, there is no better place to get in your car fix than the Wheels of Yesteryear Car Museum in Myrtle Beach.
The museum features a wide variety of classic and muscle car displays, providing central Myrtle Beach with a unique look into some of the best old cars around.
Conveniently located just off of Highway 501, the car museum displays over 50 classic cars that have been minimally restored and some are even completely original. The amazing collection at the Yesteryear Museum is a must-see experience!
Most of the cars on display are made up of Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth models, though the inventory does rotate each January to keep new and fresh classic cars on display. 50 vintage vehicles are always on display, as they are owned by Paul and Carol Cummings as part of their private collection. These are presented in a way that captures and honors their true spirit and invites everyone from casual fans to the most hardcore car enthusiast.
After soaking in the beauty of the restored pieces at the attraction, museum visitors can head to the gift shop for memorabilia, including die cast collectibles, t-shirts, nostalgic items, and tin signs. They are perfect for gifts for the dedicated automobile enthusiasts in your life, or to help you simply remember your time at this great display!
You will find everything from vintage American-made automobiles to muscle cars and trucks. Just a few of the notable vehicles on display include:
1971 Plymouth ‘Hemi’ ‘Cuda Convertible: This car was only available between 1970 and 1971.
1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ: There are only 218 of these cars of this particular configuration.
1963 Corvette Stingray: This discontinued car is one of only a few of its kind in existence.
1955 Dodge Stepside Pickup Truck: This truck is one of the first trucks to have a V-8 engine and features a rare motor and window.
