Friends of the Library, North Myrtle Beach, is pleased to announce a free author presentation on Thursday, October 6 at 10 a.m. in the library. Nancy B. Brewer is an award-winning author, poet, artist and songwriter. She has been praised for the accuracy of historical facts included in her books.
This series meets on the first Thursday of the month and features local and regional authors who talk about their books and answer questions. The authors sell autographed books to interested guests and donate a signed copy to the library.
Her books include historical fiction, romance, mystery and Christian fiction novels. Ms.Brewer weaves intriguing narratives with beautifully drawn characters and captivating plots. She attributes her ability to bring characters to life to her many years of historical reenacting. She writes from a soft, Southern voice, which allows readers to become quietly absorbed into another place and time.
One can almost smell the magnolias…
She will focus on her Carolina Rain series and re-enact scenes from her books before signing books for guests.
Don’t miss meeting one of the Grand Strand’s most exciting and romantic writers of local historical fiction.
