On Friday, January 12, 2017, The Market Common is offering a Military History Trolley Tour. Tickets are $20.
You’ll board the Trolley in front of Grand 14 Cinema for a one-hour tour around The Market Common District. During the tour, you’ll learn about the history of the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. The tour includes stops at Warbird Park and at the Base Recreation Center where a small military museum is housed.
After the tour, the trolley will drop you off at at Tupelo Honey Café where there will be a one-hour catered reception (at which you’ll meet a historical figure who was part of the base’s history).
Hours are from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Market Common is located on Farrow Parkway in Myrtle Beach.
