Surf Dreams Foundation annual Murrells Inlet Chicken Bog Challenge will be held Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 at Wicked Tuna
Welcome to the annual Surf Dreams Foundation Murrells Inlet Chicken Bog Challenge presented by Fleet Specialties!
This year will feature over 20 Chicken Bog cooking teams from North and South Carolina.
The event will include an exciting chicken bog cook-off contest, a live DJ, and a wide range of activities and entertainment suitable for individuals of all ages.
If you enjoy tasty cuisine, live music, or simply having a blast, the Murrells Inlet Chicken Bog Challenge is an event that should not be overlooked! Make sure to save the date and prepare to participate in a day packed with enjoyment, culinary delights, and lively celebrations!
These teams have perfected the art of Chicken Bog and you are guaranteed to leave with a full belly and tons of stoke.

Here are a few things you need to know leading up to the event:
- AYCE Wristbands are $20 (Cash or Credit)
- The event starts at 12 p.m. Wristbands will not be sold before then.
- You may park in any of the public parking lots or spaces along the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk.
- Water and soda will be available for the kids
All proceeds benefit the Surf Dreams Foundation. A 501(c)3 non profit organization focused on getting kids into the sport of surfing.
