Looking for a summer camp for your child? We’ve received a few requests from parents for information on summer camps in the Myrtle Beach area, so we’ve put together a list of resources for you to explore.
We’re keeping an eye out for all of the low-cost/affordable summer camp programs that are opening up for summer 2024.

Summer camps can vary from reading/academic camps to sports camps to arts and crafts, gymnastics and everything in between, hopefully you can find a 2024 summer camp that you and your child will enjoy.
City of Myrtle Beach Summer Camp Information
If registering more than one child, most Myrtle Beach area summer camps have reduced rates for additional siblings.
Camp Friendship (Pepper Geddings Rec Center) and Camp Coolout (Mary C Canty Rec Center)
Ages: 5-12
Cost: $75 per week, price reductions and sibling rates are available.
Dates: June 10 through August 9, 2024
Times: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Registration begins February 5, 2024 for both camps.
During camp, kids will be provided snack but not lunch. The kids will enjoy arts and crafts, sports, swimming, games and so much more!
Registration for these camps costs $20 per child for city residents and $50 for non-city residents.
To register, bring a driver’s license, proof of residency, birth certificate and registration fee.
