Myrtle Beach Tax Day Freebies and Deals

Every tax season, more and more restaurants and other businesses are offering discounts and freebies to help ease the pain of paying taxes. Some of the deals are good on tax day only (April 18), but others are good both before and after.

Here’s the list for 2022. I’ll add to it as more come in, so make sure you check back:

• Applebee’s: Get your taxes done and enjoy Applebee’s $5 Springtime Sips — Breezy Bahama Mama and Rock & Berry Rita. The drinks are available for a limited time. 
• If you’re getting refund, get a gift card bonus on the restaurant’s gift cards. Buy a $50 gift card and get a $10 bonus card. The bonus is available April 11 to June 26. (The bonus card expires Aug. 7.) 
• BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse: Slice into big savings at BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse on Tax Day. April 18 falls on a Monday, which also happens to the be the restaurant’s weekly Half-Price Large Pizza Mondays. 
• Chili’s: Sip on this offer all month long in April at Chili’s, including Tax Day. Enjoy the chain’s monthly margarita for just $5 — Straw-Eddy Rita.
• Combine the drink special with Chili’s popular Meal for 2 deal. Enjoy an appetizer, two full-sized entrées and dessert for $25. The meal deal is available every day.

• Firehouse Subs: Get fired up for savings on Tax Day. Firehouse Subs is celebrating the end of tax season by offering customers a FREE medium sub with the purchase of an additional medium or large sub, chips and a drink on April 18.
• The offer requires the coupon found at FirehouseSubs.com/TaxDay, which you can print or show on your smartphone to redeem. The offer is only valid in-restaurant — not online or with delivery orders. 
• Great American Cookies: Paying taxes or getting a refund, everyone will like the way this cookie crumbles on Tax Day. On April 18, Great American Cookies is giving customers a FREE Chocolate Chip Cookie with any purchase online or in-store. 
• Hot Dog on a Stick: Stick to saving money at Hot Dog on a Stick. On Tax Day, the popular hot dog stand, known for its hand-stomped lemonade, is offering loyalty members $4.18 off an online order of $10 or more — use promo code TAX. 
• HydroMassage at Planet Fitness: Once your taxes are done, you can relax. And Planet Fitness is helping everyone do just that with a FREE HydroMassage at all U.S. locations — from April 15 to 18. Beginning April 15, visit PlanetFitness.com/Hydro for the required coupon to redeem in-club.  Planet Fitness has more than 2,200 locations nationwide. 
• Insomnia Cookies: Throw a cookie party to celebrate finishing your taxes! Insomnia Cookies is offering a sweet deal — from April 11 to 17. Buy 12 Classic Cookies and get six FREE Classic Cookies. The offer is valid for local pickup, delivery and nationwide shipping.
• To get the bonus cookies, add the deal to online cart or mention in-store. Limit three uses per customer. 
• Marble Slab Creamery: Chill out on Tax Day! Marble Slab Creamery is offering a super chill deal on April 18. Loyalty members get a FREE small ice cream with the purchase of a Regular or Best Value Ice Cream. 
Noodles & Company: Doing your taxes at home? Get oodles of noodles, salads and/or soups delivered at no cost over the weekend. Noodles & Company is offering FREE delivery for orders placed via the fast-casual eatery’s site or app — from April 15 to 17. The offer is only available to Noodles Rewards members. No minimum purchase required. 
• Office Depot and OfficeMAX: Get shredded for tax season. Everyone knows the importance of shredding personal and financial documents to prevent identity theft. Thanks to Office Depot and OfficeMAX, you can shred up to 5 pounds of documents for FREE — from April 6 to 23. The offer requires this coupon. 
• Panda Express: Make preparing your taxes more palatable at Panda Express. The fast-food Chinese restaurant is offering a FREE small entrée with the purchase of its limited-time Wok-Fired Shrimp dish. The offer is available from April 4 to 17. 
• Red Lobster: Splurge over Tax Day weekend! Take a break from doing your taxes and enjoy a shrimp fest at Red Lobster. The popular seafood restaurant is offering its Ultimate Endless Shrimp for just $19.99 — from April 15 to 17.
• Mix and match from the following shrimp dishes: Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp, Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi and a Grilled Shrimp Skewer. Each meal comes with a choice of side and, most importantly, unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits. 
• Red Robin: Every little bit of savings helps, especially if you owe taxes. Red Robin is offer burger lovers some relief with 10% off gift cards purchased online — from April 11 to 18. You could get a $50 gift card for $45 or whatever amount suits your budget. (There is a minimum $10 gift card purchase required, with a limit of $499 per transaction.)
• Round Table Pizza: Save a little extra dough on Tax Day! On April 18, Round Table Pizza is offering its loyalty members a $4.18 personal pizza with up to four toppings with the purchase of a large or extra-large pizza. The reward is available in-store, online or in-app. There are nearly 500 locations in 10 states. 
• STK Steakhouse: “Steak” your claim on Tax Day! STK Steakhouse is inviting all tax payers to take the edge off with one of its signature cocktails, including its popular Strawberry Cobbler Martini, for just $10.40. The drinks are regularly $20 or more, so the deal is definitely worth raising your glass. Enjoy this all-day drink special at he bar or on patio.
