Winter Wonderland at The Beach is bringing the magic of the season to life on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Plyler Park for this 2023 wintertime event.
You can enjoy Winter Wonderland Festival of Lights starting November 24, 2023.
Photo’s with Santa, an Art Walk, Hot Chocolate, Drone Show, Tree Lighting Ceremony, Live Music and so much more to keep you and the family entertained at Myrtle Beach Winter Wonderland.

Experience the delightful melodies of the holiday season, as you immerse yourself in the enchanting ambiance of Winter Wonderland at the Beach. Delight in the harmonious tunes performed by wandering carolers, talented DJs, and captivating artists such as Steve Gribb, renowned as the Pied Piper of Percussion. Prepare to be mesmerized by a selection of exceptional live music acts from the local area, ensuring an unforgettable seasonal celebration.
Festival of Lights
The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk will host the Festival of Lights this year, and it will be free for everyone to enjoy. Holiday-themed lights will brighten the Boardwalk from Plyler Park to the 2nd Avenue Pier.
The display will run daily, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., November 24, 2023-January 1, 2024.
Family Fun Festival in Plyler Park
The first weekend in December is when the Family Fun Festival will be held this year.
Dates & Times are:
Friday, Dec. 1, 5-9 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 2, 12 noon-8 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 3, 12 noon-5 p.m.

Winter Wonderland Art Walk – Friday, Dec. 1 from 6-9 p.m.
Hosted by Seacoast Artist Guild
Come explore the lights and find some great local art while you stroll. The Seacoast Artists Guild will host its annual Winter Wonderland Art Walk in Plyler Park featuring dozens of pieces of unique work that make great gifts for the beach lovers on your list.
S’mores on the Boardwalk – Saturday, Dec. 2 from 3-8 p.m.

Warm up your holiday season with a fun family snack by the fire. Come and enjoy a complimentary S’mores kit provided by Gringo Ninja and make memories with a new holiday tradition of cooking this campfire treat oceanfront by our fire pits in Plyler Park.
Winter Wonderland Drone Show – Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:45 p.m.

Experience the magic of the season in a whole new way with this state-of-the art show featuring 100 drones flying over the beach in front of Plyler Park to create fun holiday scenes unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Come check out the area’s ONLY holiday drone show!
Photos with Santa – Dec. 2 & Dec. 3
Santa will be available for photos in Plyler Park during the Family Fun Festival on 12/2 and 12/3. Santa’s workshop area will include an inflatable house, sleigh and more. No photographer will be present. All photos will be taken with your own devices.
Family Fun Fest Market – Dec. 2 from 12-8 p.m.
Entertainment at 9th Ave. Stage – Dec. 2 from 12-8 p.m.
Light Up the Night Bike Ride – Dec. 12 at 6 p.m.
This annual “Slow Roll” ride will begin at Grand Strand Brewing Co. at 6 p.m. and will take to the streets of downtown Myrtle Beach, touring the Winter Wonderland lights display. The ride will conclude at the brewery and be followed by trivia, beers and prizes. No registration necessary.
Twinkling Two-Miler Run Presented by NS Promotions – Dec. 14 at 6 p.m.
Run, walk or dash your way through this fun, untimed race which will begin in Plyler Park and run south along Ocean Boulevard to Second Avenue South before turning back up the boardwalk and through the Winter Wonderland lights display. Cost to enter is $25, click here for more information, and runners will receive a medal for participating.

Hi I would love to win the gift card . I’m a grandmother of 8 grandchildren of which 3 boys live here in Myrtle Beach. They are 7 , 8 & 2 . I think they would enjoy the Christmas Lights at the Beach & the Ice skating too since they never have ice skated before ! This was such a wonderful idea for Myrtle Beach. I would enjoy it too !!!
