October Brings Fright Nights on Ocean Boulevard and Ghoulish Downtown Events

Prepare yourself for an exhilarating October as Fright Nights makes its comeback to Myrtle Beach and Ocean Boulevard!

Experience an electrifying lineup of events every weekend from October 4 through November 2.

Each weekend, the Boulevard will transform to a haunted spectacle.

Beyond the thrilling Fright Nights, October brings an exciting array of activities in the heart of downtown! There’s something for everyone, from families to adventure lovers, with plenty of enjoyable options that are light on scares but heavy on fun throughout the wider downtown area.

October 4 – 6:

—F1rst Friday Artwalk: The Myrtle Beach Downtown Alliance will host its monthly F1rst Friday Artwalk from 5-8 p.m., Friday night, in the Arts & Innovation District.

—Friday Night Fright Nights: The Dynamic Blues Sisters will kick off the weekend with DJ Frankenstein from 5-7 p.m., followed by their energetic show from 7-9 p.m. Entertainment will take place in Plyler Park, along Ocean Boulevard.

—Saturday Night Fright Nights: Dance to the beats of DJ Shy-Ronnie from 5-9 p.m. Entertainment will take place in Plyler Park, along Ocean Boulevard.

—Sunday Afternoon Fright Nights: Enjoy family-friendly fun with the Scooby-Doo Gang and DJ Shy-Ronnie from 3-7 p.m. Entertainment will take place in Plyler Park, along Ocean Boulevard.

October 10 – 13:
—Thursday Night: Nights at Nance concert series featuring Southern Kind from 6–8 p.m. in Nance Plaza. Bites and beverages will be available for purchase from local merchants.
