The South Atlantic Shrine Association will hold a big Shriners Parade on Ocean Boulevard, Saturday, September 23.
The parade starts at 9:00 a.m. The parade begins at the intersection of Ocean Boulevard at 17th Avenue South, and it ends at 29th Avenue South.
Everyone’s invited to attend and enjoy the show, with dozens of Shrine temples participating in the
event! The parade is part of SASA’s 50th Annual Fall Festival, September 21-25.

If your destination is along the parade route, officers will be stationed to let you through at the Ocean Boulevard intersections at Springmaid Boulevard, 27th Avenue South, 25th Avenue South and 21st Avenue South. Drivers will be able to use the northbound emergency lane only to get to their destination.
– An “emergency lane” will be temporarily created along Ocean Boulevard only.
– The emergency lane is to be utilized by visitors and employees to enter and exit the hotels and businesses along the coastline. You can only travel north in the emergency lane, so be sure to enter the lane south of your destination.
– Parking is encouraged west of Ocean Boulevard if your destination is between Springmaid Boulevard and 17th Avenue South.
– Myrtle Beach Police officers will be stationed at Springmaid Boulevard, 25th Avenue South, 27th Avenue South and 21st Avenue South to assist with vehicle travel to and from Ocean Boulevard.
• If you are going to a location between Springmaid Boulevard and 27th Avenue South: Access northbound only emergency lane at Ocean Boulevard and Springmaid Boulevard. Use 27th Avenue South to exit.
• If you are going to a location north of 27th Avenue South: Access northbound only emergency lane at 27th Avenue South. Use 25th Avenue South to exit.
• If you are going to a location north of 25th Avenue South: Access northbound only emergency lane at 25th Avenue South. Use 21st Avenue South to exit.
• If you are going to a location North of 21st Avenue South: Access northbound only emergency lane at 21st Avenue South. Use 16th Avenue South to exit.
