Are you or someone in your family afraid of the water and would like to learn how to swim?
The City of Myrtle Beach is hosting a FREE learn to swim program at the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center. Four sessions a day will be offered Monday through Thursday, May 22-25, 2023.

The course is designed to teach beginner swim lessons and water safety to kids and teens, five to 18 years of age. Parents are required to attend one CPR class in order for child to participate in the free course (CPR-certified parents are exempt). Parents will not receive a CPR certification for attending the class.
Splash Without Cash swim lessons take place in thirty-minute increments, May 22-25, at the following times:
• 4:45 to 5:15 p.m.
• 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
• 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.
Adaptive swimming lessons are provided for children of all abilities during the 4:00 to 4:30 p.m. time slot.
