Sugar Hill Gang at The Asher Theatre Labor Day Weekend

This is where rap music all began…much respect!

The Sugarhill Gang’s now-legendary debut 12” single Rapper’s Delight made history in 1979 when became the biggest selling 12” single of all time with over a million records sold and reigned as the world’s first greatest hip-hop hit. The track was so iconic it was named in Rolling Stone’s magazine 500 greatest songs ever recorded!

The show is scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2023 at 8:00 p.m.

Still packing out venues throughout the world, we can’t wait for these true living legends to get the crowd at the Asher shouting…

The rap group will also perform their second hit single “Apache (Jump On It)” which people all over the world still do their dance to, and Will Smith and Carlton did their famous dance routine to on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 90’s TV show.
