Taco Bell Rewards free food and perks

Fans of Taco Bell have something exciting to unwrap, thanks to the chain’s new loyalty program. The Mexican fast-food chain is now rewarding its most dedicated customers for spending their dining-out budget on its tacos, burritos, nachos and more. Plus, members earn a FREE surprise just for signing-up.

The popular restaurant just launched its first-ever loyalty program — Taco Bell Rewards. (Important: The program is in a testing phase and may change or end at any time.)

Here’s how it works:

1. Create an account online or download its app and you’re in. Register here.

2. Earn 10 points for every $1 spent. As an example, spend $10 and earn 100 points. Look out for “Challenges” for a chance to earn extra points and rewards!

3. Get your first reward, once you’ve earned 250 points.

Note: You only earn points for food ordered directly through the Taco Bell app or website. In-restaurant purchases do not earn points nor do third-party orders for delivery or pick-up.

There are two membership tiers with various rewards available:

Hot Tier — includes Bean Burrito, Chips & Nacho Cheese Sauce, Cinnamon Twists, Crunchy Taco or Medium Fountain Drink…plus, a birthday surprise.

Fire! Tier — includes Bean Burrito, Chips & Nacho Cheese Sauce, Cinnamon Twists, Crunchy Taco, Medium Fountain Drink, Chalupa Supreme, Doritos Locos Tacos, Nachos BellGrande or Regular Mountain Dew Baja Blast Freeze…plus, a birthday surprise.

How do you reach the Fire! Tier? If you reach 2,000 points within a calendar year, get promoted to “Fire Tier” and, then, earn 11 points per dollar spent. Also, get access to more reward options. (For those doing the math, you need to spend $200 to reach the top tier.)

And, to get things started, all members earn a FREE Doritos Locos Taco just for signing-up. (If you have an existing account, find the freebie under “Rewards” — after you sign in for the first time, following the update.)
