The Creek Excursion at Brookgreen Gardens offers inexpensive boat cruises through area creeks

The Brookgreen Gardens Creek Excursion allows you to cruise the creeks of the area on a 48-foot pontoon boat.

Your Creek Excursion takes you through historic rice fields, which are now home to alligators, waterfowl, and osprey.

Your guide helps you see the distinctive landscape of the rice plantations and understand the role of enslaved Africans in the cultivation of the rice crop and the shaping of the history of the Lowcountry.

Boat rides last approximately 45 minutes.

Cruises take place daily, Monday through Sunday, with four excursion per day: 11 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. thru Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Brookgreen Gardens is located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive in Murrells Inlet.

Brookgreen Gardens Creek Excursion ticket price is $6.00 to $10.00. Brookgreen Gardens ticket purchasing information can be found on the Brookgreen Gardens website.

Fees/Admission:
Tickets are $10 adults and $6 children, in addition to garden admission. Boat rides often sell out and we strongly recommend purchasing tickets as soon as possible when you arrive at the gardens. Tickets are available at the Gardener’s Cottage Information Center and the Lowcountry Center Auditorium for same-day purchase and must be purchased at least 10 minutes before the tour time. Boat tickets are not sold online or by telephone.
