Looking for the biggest NYE celebration on the Grand Strand? Head out to Market Common for this year’s A Southern Times Square NYE Celebration! The event kicks off at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. It’s free to attend but you do need a ticket. Instructions on how to get your free tickets are below.
The Market Common Southern Times Square Celebration will include:
- Live Music from Painted Man
- Beer & Wine Garden
- Food Vendors
- Ball Drop
- Activities for the kids
This year will feature a drone show by Sky Elements Drone Shows.

Attending the event is FREE, but you will need a ticket for entry. Here is how to obtain a ticket(s) for A Southern Times Square:
- Spend $25 or more during a single visit (one receipt) at any Market Common business. Please note businesses located in SoHo or elsewhere in the Market Common District do not qualify. Your expenditure can be from a retailer, restaurant, entertainment or services. Online purchases or purchases made at other locations will not be valid unless the online purchase is from a business solely located in The Market Common shopping center.
- Stop by The Market Common Management Office (4017 Deville Street, Myrtle Beach) M-F between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- One (1) ticket will be distributed for each $25 increment per valid receipt.
Bring/show your ticket at one of the event entrances and receive an event wristband.
THIS IS A LIMITED-CAPACITY, TICKETED EVENT. YOU MUST HAVE TICKETS TO GAIN ENTRY!
No chairs or coolers allowed.
Bag Policy:
Clear bags will be allowed.
Only bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 14” x 6” x 14”, are allowed. One-gallon plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) are allowed. Small clutch bags, not to exceed 4.5” x 6.5”, are allowed. An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection. Diaper bags will be allowed for families with infants and toddlers. Child must be present.
FREE parking will be available at the parking garage deck and lots, Crabtree Gym parking lot along with on-street parking. A complimentary trolley will shuttle people to both Valor Park and 810 Billiards & Bowling. The trolley will run from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
