Tunnel to Towers Foundation Walk and 5K Run

The annual Tunnel to Towers Foundation Walk and 5K Run is set for 8:00 a.m., Saturday, September 10, at Valor Memorial Garden at The Market Common.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation memorializes the sacrifice of all first responders on September 11, including Stephen Siller. A 34 year old firefighter in Brooklyn, Siller responded to the call on September 11 by strapping 60 pounds of equipment and gear on his back and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to help rescue people in the World Trade Center. Siller gave his life to save others and inspired the annual Tunnel to Towers events held nationwide.

Registration starts at $30 for adults.
